Marcus Hale started StreamPath NexLab in 2019 after eight years inside large organisations. Two at a logistics firm in Rotterdam, three at a mid-size SaaS company in Austin, and a final stretch as an internal process lead at a healthcare network in the Pacific Northwest. He kept noticing the same thing: the consultants who came in were smart, but they left behind slide decks that nobody could act on. The recommendations were real. Marcus Hale spent eight years in operational roles before founding StreamPath NexLab in 2019. He trained in process mapping under a lean-operations team in Rotterdam, then spent three years as a workflow lead at a SaaS company in Austin before moving to Portland, Oregon. He is obsessive about plumb lines: if a process has a hidden tilt, he will find it. Outside work he builds dry-stone garden walls on weekends, which he says teaches the same lesson every time: a bad base makes every course above it harder. He reads slowly and takes notes by hand.
